There are many theories regarding diamond count and performance. We have been playing lacrosse a lot and for a long time and here is what we think we know . . . less diamonds means lighter, easier break-in, shorter pocket life consistency.
More diamonds means slightly heavier, slightly longer break-in (this depends on who strings it, some stringers can hand you a stick that is “game ready”) and longer pocket life consistency.
